I provide on site catering throughout Karapiro, Cambridge and the wider Waikato, coming to you at your home, workplace, private property or chosen venue. I cater for weddings, milestone birthdays, Christmas staff parties, work functions, corporate gatherings, strategy days, family celebrations and those occasions that simply deserve really good food.
My approach is relaxed rather than overly formal, abundant grazing, beautiful platters, shared dishes, feasting style menus and food designed for people to enjoy together. Every occasion is different, so rather than forcing you into a standard package, I start with the people, the setting and how you want the gathering to feel, then create the food around it.
Whether I’m catering around a kitchen table, in a garden, at a workplace, on a farm or at a venue you've chosen, the aim is the same: generous food, thoughtful presentation and guests who feel genuinely well looked after.

From a long lunch with friends to a milestone birthday, wedding, Christmas celebration, private picnic, proposal, staff function or corporate gathering, Karapiro Catering Club creates food around the way you want your occasion to feel. Think generous grazing tables, beautiful platters, substantial bites and shared feasts — food that looks beautiful, tastes wonderful and allows people to relax and enjoy themselves.
You may already have the perfect place in mind. I can cater at your home, workplace, holiday property or chosen venue, and shape the food around the setting and the occasion. Or, if you are looking for somewhere to gather as well, Jakama Lodge — our family farm in Karapiro — offers a relaxed rural setting for private celebrations, corporate gatherings and smaller special occasions, with accommodation also available. It can be as simple as a beautifully prepared picnic somewhere special on the farm, or a larger gathering where the setting, food and accommodation all come together.
There are no fixed formulas. I can begin with the occasion, your guest numbers, your location and the atmosphere you want to create, then shape the food around you.

Jakama Lodge
Karapiro Catering Club has a special connection with Jakama Lodge, our family's working farm and beautiful lakeside property at Lake Karapiro. Set directly on the lake, with accommodation, expansive outdoor spaces and a wonderfully private Waikato setting, Jakama Lodge provides a memorable backdrop for intimate weddings and elopements, private celebrations, staff Christmas parties, corporate gatherings, strategy days, farm tours and other special occasions.
Karapiro Catering Club is the preferred catering partner at Jakama Lodge, allowing the setting, food and hospitality to work naturally together. That might mean a relaxed lakeside celebration, a long table filled with shared food, an intimate wedding, a corporate day away from the office or simply bringing a group of people together somewhere a little different.
Whatever the occasion, the aim is the same, to make it feel personal, generous and memorable.

Customer feedback
Our daughter was turning 18 and we wanted to do something a little special for her. Everything was so easy to organise and she was absolutely thrilled with how it all came together. We talked through what would work for the teenagers as well as the adults, and Kellie created a grazing table that everyone loved. It looked fantastic, there was plenty of food and the whole thing felt really special. Communication was great throughout, and on the day I didn't have to worry about the food at all.
